) !! A: Follicular hyperkeratosis due to vitamin A deficiency. The goosebump-like lesions generally occur on the thighs and arms and are often mistaken for acne. Other symptoms associated w/ vitamin A deficiency include weakened immune function, macular degeneration, and night blindness.
